The ExceptionAL Project is a narrative change initiative that amplifies the beauty, brilliance, and humanity of Black men and boys through consistently sharing their images, ideas, voices, and stories.

The ExceptionAL Project supports Black men and boys by creating a platform that consistently affirms them and by reinvesting a portion of our proceeds into organizations doing direct work with young Black men and boys. Visit the Our Partners page above to learn more about our partners and the work they do.

You can nominate Black men and boys to be featured in our work by completing a nomination form on our website. Someone from our team will review and be in touch to learn more about the person and see how we can highlight them in our efforts.

40% of all proceeds from T-shirt sales will be donated to partner organizations that invest in Black men and boys specifically in the areas of education, entrepreneurship, mentorship, and those re-entering from the justice system. We call this changing the game. The remaining proceeds are invested in creating more content to support the changing the narrative aspect of our work.

Currently, we offer shipping to anywhere in the United States. We hope to add international shipping starting with South Africa, Canada, and the UK in early 2025.
